Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
8 Week Program
Mindfulness 360 facilitates the 8 weeks Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program that teaches individuals effective skills for stress management and coping with
emotional and physical pain. Combining modern cognitive science with ancient mindfulness techniques, the program teaches participants to change the way they relate and experience themselves and their life.
The MBSR program was first developed in 1979 by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts, Medical Centre. Today, the program it’s been adopted by more than 720 centers across the globe and its benefits have been confirmed by numerous medical, psychological and neuroscience research studies.
During the program, participants learn to reconnect with the inner resources for finding meaning in their lives, to stay calm in difficult moments and to connect more deeply with what matters most. Skillfully applied, mindfulness-based approaches help individuals to let go of unproductive habits and reactivity and start anew.
We are planning to offer group MBSR courses (Greek language), two-three times a year (February / October) in Mindfulness 360 premises so if you are interested to participate, please contact us for more details!
"Knowing what you are doing while you are doing it, is the essence of mindfulness practice. This knowing is a non-conceptual knowing, or bigger than conceptual knowing. It is awareness itself."
