Mindfulness@Work • Resilience (7 weeks)
In a research contacted on behalf of American Management Association International, workplace stress is a major problem in today’s organizations. Among all the issues explored in the study, the problem of high stress levels ranked highest. Well over half of respondents said their organizations suffered from above-average stress levels, while just 8% reported less-than-average amounts of worker stress. Mindfulness@Work - Resilience is a mindfulness based corporate training program designed to teach participants through mindfulness practices and techniques how to decrease and manage stress effectively and develop emotional resilience. The program is based on the world-renowned and scientifically accepted Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program designed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Medical Center of the University of Massachusetts.
The aim of the program is to teach participants to access and cultivate mental skills and innate resources we all have, using as an instrument the development of mindfulness awareness. The key capacities participants will develop are:
Stress Management: increase calmness, emotional balance and non-reactivity
Emotional Resilience: increase inner capacity to adopt and recover from difficulties and adversity
